MP40wQD shutting off

I have two MP40's. Both are 4 years old and worked fine on my prior system. I broke down the system and built a new system. As soon as I give them power with the Apex, the come on, work for a few seconds and the display/controller shuts off killing power to the dry side. Does anyone have any idea what is happing? It's strange that it's happening to both units.

I went through many trouble shooting steps. It turned out to be a bad WiFi chip on both units.
