I have Redsea 650 peninsula ( 63" length by 25" width), SPS tank
have 2 mp40s and consider to buy additional mp60 to increase the flow in the tank.
what is the best position for these 3 pumps

The rock scape is two big islands in the middle of the tank.

many thanks in adavnce

I guess it really depends on how clear you want the viewing area. I've seen most placed vertically on the black end beside the overflow - aimed towards the opposite end of the tank. The idea there (I presume) being to create a circular motion around the tank.

I want maximum circulation with clear view in the front (length) side only.
I consider two options :
option 1 - mp60 in the overflow side (front) and two mp40s in the opposite side
option 2 - 2 mp40 in the overflow side (back and front) and the mp60 in the opposite side in the middle.

If this was me, this is how I'd position them.

thanks, but I have sand, so I am not sure I can put more than two vertical pumps in one side
