MP60 wet side broke. Is this Rust?

Is this rust? Only used for 4 weeks and i believe it was damaged from the start since it wouldnt stay aligned.

Middle shaft fused with the magnet

Bumper bc i just added corals and suspect there might be elevated metals

Did the ceramic shaft break off? That’s not good. Curious to hear what Ecotech says. I find their support to be excellent.

Ecotech got back saying it cant be rust and will send a new one but will have to wait until next week since they are closed for christmas.

Looks like rust to me. Hope it works out with warranty.
