I just picked up a MP60 for my 90g tank. I already have 2 mp40 on the tank. any recommendations on how i should set them up should i move both 40's to one end and the 60 to the other or maybe a 40 on the back or ......

I have 1 MP60 and it nearly powers my entire 150g SPS tank (48x30x24). I can't imagine you need all three. You could do 1 MP40 and 1 MP60 I suppose. Sell one and buy some corals :)

If you really want to use all three put one in the lower back to help circulation. Obviously you'll have to turn them all down to lower power settings if this is the case.

2 mp40s is more than enough. The 60 alone would be a tornado. Let alone paired with 2 40s. Stick to the 40s on opp sides and u will be perfect

I would think it is overkill. I am planning three mp40 on a 120 and I wonder if it isn't to much.

I have 2 mp40s and 2 mp10s on my 120. I don't think k it's over kill. Kind of depends on you rocks. I would do a 40 on back one on side and a 60 on other.

with the 2 Mp 40s you have plenty of circulation . Adding a 60 is way over kill and the mp 60 is noisy
