Mr Clean Magic Eraser

I have heard of using the Mr Clean Magic Eraser to clean an acrylic tank. I understand that it can be used INSIDE the tank (usually cut down so it will fit in between your cleaning magnet). My question is can it be used to Clean the OUTSIDE of the tank? I currently use vinegar and a squeegee (No Scratches, but occasionally I see streaks - grrr. Is the magic eraser a solution for the streaking? What would you recommend?.

Paper towel and windex.

Not actually windex, but a foam spray in a can for windows. Never spray it directly on the glass/acrylic, but rather into the towel, then use the towel on the glass.

Newspaper and windex leaves less streaks. But mr clean original erasers work on everything but I would bet it would leave streaks on the outside glass

RO/DI water and a microfiber towel is what I have always used.

Novus 1 with flannel works well and a bottle lasts a long time
