The previous sump I was running was too small and no room for a refugium so I upgraded 18 gal sump almost the same size of my display lol.

Great set up so far! how do you like the lighting and the overflow box? Would you go with the ai nano or a different fixture overall? Are you getting enough flow with your overflow? I'm setting up a 27 gallon marineland and I want to use the same light and overflow.

Thanx , I have lots of good flow no dead spots loving it !! As far as my fixture my corals open very nicely color are nice and bright, only reason I did not go with the AI nano was cause I would of need it to purchase a separate controller to adjust my lights and set the timer. I really recommend the razor you'll love it, could also ramp up and down your leds as day goes by according to your preferences.

With the overflow, were you able to mount the Razor centered without modifying the mount? I have the same setup, gl*******s overflow and all. I currently have the sol nano and I had to trim the stock mounting arm to fit around my overflow. I'm not really happy with the sol nano, and I'm considering the Razor.

That was my first concern when my fixture arrived I did not take in consideration that detail, but as you could see in the pic the folks over at maxspec thought about that specially them knowing that these fixtures would be placed on tight places like nano tanks so they made cut outs on both ends of the mounts and walla !!!! Perfect fit I couldn't be more happy with my purchase and this company highly recommended. .
