MRC calcium reactor setup

Here is a general pic of my setup. I replaced the original Blueline pump (too loud) with a Jebao and added the union at the top to make it easier to top off the media without draining the reactor. I also replaced some of the fittings with John guest push connects.

Effluent is being pulled through the reactor by a Masterflex pump.

Thats what i was looking for just wanted to see what fittings were being used for the co2 and at the end of the T

Sure, no problem. Note that those fittings you see in the picture are not original to the reactor. The water inlet and the CO2 inlet were originally barb connectors (a tiny one for the CO2). I replaced them with quick connects. I believe one was 1/4 fnpt and one was 1/8 fnpt. Like this and this. Just unscrew the originals and screw in the John guest replacements.

Yea i ended up drilling and tapping the 1/8npt to 1/4 since it was easier to find 1/4 to barb fittings on bulkreefsupply
