Yes, I happened upon it, just haven't had time to ponder (as my family and I have been fighting off a nasty head cold). First, I'm flattered by the vote of confidence. However, I'm on the fence. I have so much to learn in the hobby that I don't think I can be helpful to anyone other than beginners. On the other, I would like to help where I can. I'll give you guys an answer soon.

At this time im not sure if I can accept nomination. I love the club, and really enjoy it but with me working afternoons and lots of weekends it is hard for me to accept. I just took a promotion and it may work in my favor but only time will tell. We really need a good promotion this coming year at the frag swap to get new members.
My nominations
Pres-Fishdoc
VP Bknapp
Treasurer Novajohn
Secretary Skygirl
If anyone declines thejoshdavis as alternate but I know he is super busy.

Thank you! Being on the BOD is more about planning, scheduling, logistics, etc. of making the meetings and what not happen. You can reach out to others to do presentations or educational speeches. I learned a ton the first year I was on the BOD a few years back.

Appreciate your input and nominations. Unfortunately at this time Fishdoc is not qualified to run for the BOD as he has not been to at least 3 meetings this calendar year.

I would like to withdraw my name from any and all nominations. I feel at this point the club is better left to people with new ideas on how to move forward. Having been on the BoD the last two years and seeing the participation here on r2r and in meetings leads me to believe that a new group of eyes and hands is best at this point. I'm of course going to continue to work on getting the swap done and will help whoever happens to be in the next BoD.

This is correct but thank you for your nomination. I can't seem to make time for meetings these days so I certainly wouldn't be a good pick for the BOD at this time :)
