Fun and important meeting this weekend. Here are the nominees that will be running for their respective positions at this weekend's meeting. Be sure to think over who you would like to represent MTRC for 2016.

The above posts give the address at 2537 Highland Dr. but on face book it says 2537 Highwood Blvd. which is it or are they the same ?

We will have a large cooler or two for all to put their frags in.

After much consideration I have decided to withdraw from my nominations. I think having the possibility of a husband and wife serving on the board together takes away from others being able to serve and giving a variety of people on the board. I would like to nominate Jimmy Sumner for VP and Cindy Cannon as Sec.

With the elections this Saturday it would appear that we just need to vote for President. It appears as if the BOD will have to operate as a 3 person crew; which is OK as stated in the bylaws of MTRC.

This is do or die time for MTRC. With only three people willing to grab ahold of the reigns and direct the club going forward. The attendance numbers have been low for most of the last two years and the club has struggled to get volunteers to help at the swap and to become board members. This club doesn't run itself, it takes dedicated people who have love for the hobby and for other people to be successful in the hobby. I'm thankful for the people who have stepped up to the plate, and the other members should be as well.

If the club is to continue its going to take dedication from not only the incoming BoD members but also the club members.

Stand up, be heard, contribute.

I will do what I can to help the club out. I am hoping new job will have benefit of more time off on the weekends to allow for more meeting attendance and as always I will be taking vacation to help out with swap.
