obviously tank size I understand is a factor but can multiple angels and butterflies be housed together? For instance could a scribbled angel, goldflake angel, tinkers bfly, CBB and helinochus all live together?

Mixing butterflies can be hit or miss; similar looking ones can be aggressive with each other.

Both of the angels you mentioned can become territorial (aggressive); especially if housed in too small a tank.

The tank is a custom 72"x27"x27". The butterflies I like all carry different shapes. The Angels not so much. I'd love a gold flake, scribble and a Red Sea regal. All starting small tho

I have a coral beauty, Red Sea regal and a queen together and are absolutely fine with each other [emoji106]

I've no experience with butterflies unfortunately though

Add several angels and butterflies simultaneously and you'll increase your odds. I would add the butterflies you want, perhaps 3 first. Once established wait a few months then add the angels you want simultaneously.
