I haven’t seen the peppermint shrimp eat the hammer coral. But the two peppermint shrimp have destroyed all the aptasia in two days. All my other Zoas are open. But this small colony has all closed up for two weeks. Along side the green star polyps. My LFS said peppermint shrimp don’t eat hammer corals. I don’t know what to do
you have to get the correct shrimp. I have two and they do not trouble my corals.Peppermint shrimp are the worst thing in this hobby, they all eat coral and they all like coral more than aiptasia
Lighting is the same. Water parameters are the same as well. All good numbers. One thing that is weird is. Each day my hammer coral has less of its tenticals and you can see it’s stony baseHave you changed any light settings recently? What about parameters; Is anything different there? Any other changes you have made to your tank besides adding those shrimp?
