Anyone have experience with multiple puffers in a tank?

My reticulated puffer decided that the Mappa puffer was looking tasty. Bit the Mappa, Mappa puffed up, then bit the Mappa’s tail. Calmed down after that. Now the Mappa is hiding in the rockwork. No aggression towards other fish.

Was hoping to eventually add a Stars and Stripes to the mix, but don’t want more issues.

Yeah from my research and experiance when I wanted multiple puffers the consensus seemed to be puffers dont play nice with eachother. Probably would not add a third puffer, seems to me thats asking for some trouble as puffers got some wicket teeth! How big is the tank?

I've kept 2 puffers in a tank before. There were no issues at all, and they completely ignored each other.... until feeding time, where they would bicker over food pretty aggressively. I decided not to have more than 1 puffer per tank after that.

I’ve kept a Porcupine and a Stars and Stripes together in my 240 FOWLR. They did great.

They’re not conspecifics though, and that probably helped.
