I'm trying to setup a small system where I feed 5 10 gallon aquariums from a single pump and holding tank. I have a Jebao DCP10000 as my pump. I need to get the water from the holding tank to the rack of aquariums about 20 feet away. I'm wondering what the best configuration of tubing / pipe to get water?

I'm not looking for a ton of flow, maybe 5 gallons an hour to each tank. I'd like to avoid using PVC if possibl and go with something like vinyl tubing in case I want to change something in the future. But, I'd also like to use 3/8 tubing as the final tubing into the tank.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this, what sizes of tubing and fittings? The biggest hurdle I'm trying to get over is how to transition from the vinyl tube to the 3/8 tube.

Are the 5 tanks individuals and all have drains to a common sump or back to the 'holding tank'?

Or are they all connected to each other?

I don't understand the reason for not using pvc as it is just as easy to changes as vinyl hose. Also, what is the 3/8 tubing you are using at the tank(s)? Is it plastic? Does it have barbs at the end for connecting to vinyl hose?
