Could anyone identify these please. They are multiplying rapidly in high flow areas of the tank. Tank about a year old. Biggest about 7mm. Growing mainly on wave makers. I plucked a few off and it seems to have made things worse. They're now growing on tank inlet/outlet and now on the glass as shown in the picture. Its a mystery where they have come from; nothing except food has been introduced to the aquarium. Thanks in advance. New to this forum.

Wow, quick response. Thank you so much. Nothing I'm doing wrong then? Not an indication of tank issues?

Nope nothing you did wrong or anything wrong with your tank. A common, and harmless, inhabitant of a newer tank. They will go away with time.

Thanks. Loving this new hobby, and all the new developments and things to learn as the tank matures.
