Glad to have you onboard and good luck with the contest!

Thanks! I think I've got some good competition on this forum. :)

The live rock and sand have been properly cycled, so I added a Pseudochromis elongatus that I have been keeping in quarantine and it will remain the only fish in this tank. It is active, eating frozen brine shrimp, and seemingly inquisitive. It's a tiny 1.5" fish and it is constantly navigating through the small spaces within the live rock. While it wasn't captured well with my camera, its coloration is fantastic; its body forms a smooth color gradient that transitions from a bright orange head to a bold red body and darkens to black towards the tail.

Thanks, Rich! Yes, Maria, it's a very cool fish. It hangs out in the live rock most of the time, but when I approach the tank, it swims to the front to check out what's going on. :)

There are some small bits of Neomeris sp. that just sprung out of my live rock. Not sure if I'm going to keep it, but I'll leave it for now. I threw a bunch of different single polyps of Zoanthus sp. and Palythoa sp. into the tank to acclimate and will get some photos up after they get glued down. I recently purchased a couple different P. grandis frags for 10 and 20 bucks each and a small Ricordea yuma for 10 bucks. I also picked up a colony of Z. gigantus and a colony of Actinodiscus sp. at 40 and 25 bucks, respectively, from which I will be taking a few polyps of each for use in this tank.
