Muratic acid or Cuprisorb to pull copper from dry rocks?

I have roughly 100lbs or of dry live rocks out of the water for at least 3 months now. What should i use to remove copper? Acid bath or Curpisorb? Thanks!

Were the rocks in a tank that was dosed with copper? Do you know what type of copper was used?

You can check out this thread for some pretty solid research and advice. Given that the copper (if present) would have been absorbed into the rock. An acid bath would only remove the outer layer of the rock, so wouldn't likely help that much.
As the linked thread states; "Cuprisorb removes ionic copper faster". So if you know you only have this type of copper, Cuprisorb would be a good solution. Otherwise; it may not be the best solution....

TBH i dont remember what type of copper was used being that it was a while back since i removed them from the DT.

Without knowing the type of copper (which is reasonable, no worries), Cuprisorb may - or may not - work for you. Check out that link I shared for suggestions on how to remove any kind of copper.

Thanks! I think cuprisorb, polyfiber pads, carbon, and giant water changes are the best methods — as my link suggests, used in conjunction
