Hey everyone,

I plan on acid washing my rocks later today and had a questions. My plan is to put them all in a trash can, fill with water, then the acid and let it sit for a while in there. Then pour in some baking soda.

Now here's where my question is. Can I then take them out, wash them out with the hose and then a final rinse in RO/DI water? or should I skip the hose and straight to the RO/DI water rinse?

My only concern is that eventually there will be a lot of acid in the RO/DI rinse water when I get to the last part of the rocks.

When i did it i soaked them in fresh tap water after washing with the hose, then i changed the fresh water a few times over a few hours to make sure they were clean then let them dry out in the sun.
