Can I place a mushroom and blasto close to each other without worrying about warfare? I'm in love with one of each and would like them to be a first coral to my tank. Also about what par range should I be looking at for each?
These are the 2 I have planned

I would recommend placing them apart. It’s a good rule of thumb for corals of different families and species. For example - Rhodactis mushrooms can touch, but not a rhodactis and a discosoma. Ricordea Florida can touch each other, but not with Ricordea Yuma and Florida.
My taxonomy may not be accurate but hopefully that paints the picture.

Ok I have been trying to read about what corals are worse. So I'll try to paint an idea of how far apart to place them. Never knew corals would be the hardest part of planning. I do have a spot for an elegance coral planned but want to wait til I get a couple more fish in there.
