to me. it actually looks like its creating another foot and growing... keep an eye on it but it looks good to me ! I can almost bet that will turn into another mushroom soon !

Great! I was bracing for someone to say it’s a bug or worm eating it

When mushrooms move sometimes they leave a piece of there foot behind. This will eventually separate from the mushroom and grow into a new one. There yu go!
