Mushroom being wack

I have a really pretty blue and orange rhodactis. Been in the tank for a couple months and is probably 5 inches across. Started doing this weird pinching thing a couple hours ago. Here’s a pic from a week ago and today. Anybody know what’s happening?

Agreed it's splitting. My mellow yellow bounce did the same thing, I thought it was dying and then poof! Three bounce mushrooms now If I could only get them to move away from one another . Congrats on the new shrooms
