Mushroom bleached

Neither of my mushrooms are doing well everything else in tank looks great!

Can this be saved??

Really bleached I would suggest a more shaded area....and yes it can recover...

Agreed, second moving to an area of less intense lighting and even some shading. Ricordia like to be angled against LR.

I think you sunburned it - move it to a dark area of the tank and let it heal

If you are feeding frozen foods, you can also squirt them with it.

Nitrates and phosphates. Sorry. Tired thumbs. Lol.

Did this happen after a water change or dosing or cleaning ?

Bleaching and the expulsion of zooox and the associated pigments are not always low nutints and Light . It’s really hard to tell the difference. Between the two.
In your case and as it’s a mushroom , ime , mine will shrink up with light shock or low nutrients.

It looks like zooox expulsion rather than bleaching to me.
The light is a current orbit marine non pro non lensed I belive.

My personal observation of too much Light on a shroom has been shrinkage and then walking.

Add Alkalinty, and calcium to the list of things we need. Nitrates are considered “high” but by no means a problem.

Well um. I would first recommend acquiring a thermometer. As much as we assume temperature stays steady it’s good to have one. But for now does the tank feel really warm or really cold?
