Hi all,

I bought some mushrooms at the lfs around 2 weeks ago.
I was away from home for the last 6 days and used and autofeeder on my tank. I have 2 ai prime hd lights over the tank.
On returning home and testing the water,
PH- 8.2
KH- 8
Ammonia - 0.2
Nitrates - 5
Nitrites - 0
Phosphates - 0

Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks in advance

Ammonia is killing them

Sounds like your auto feeder feed more then what the biofilter could handel
Thanks. It looked like alot even in the lowest setting and I chose just one interval per day, obviously this was still too much.

I did a 20% water change today and will do another tomorrow

I hooe you got them in time and they recover watch for melting and if they do suck them out and change the water again and put fresh carbon in they can bomb a tank
Thanks. I'll definitely keep an eye.

I was using the JBL auto food on the smallest measure. 1 feed per day. It seems alot of food
