After 2 years my super red mushroom finally had 2 little babies the only thing is I can only see them in the morning then it covers them the rest of the day ...will they survive ? The rest of my shrooms spawn every week this guy took years and is my nicest one so I’m interested to hear your opinion you would think without light the babies can’t live right ?

They'll eventually "walk" away from the mother and find a better spot. Unless they get enough diffuse light to be happy where they are.

Np at all its so exciting to have them splitting for the first time! Once they get large they start propagating themselves regularly so fingers crossed your starts pumping out babies (clones) on a regular basis. I found alot of mine ended up in the sand and would often get covered up in sand if this starts happening put the detached mushroom(s) in a plastic deli/condiment container with some crushed coral or sand at the bottom you can get them to attach to frag plugs by placing a plug nestled in sand in the cup.
