Mushroom coral babies ?

how long does it take a mushroom coral to reproduce or have babies ha-ha? I don't want to propagate them so I was wondering an estimate thanks in advance

Actually mushrooms are the easiest coral to propagate you can cut them like pizza lol. Just cut them in half and then half again making sure all of the pieces you cut have part of the middle or mouth with them. Just take a razor blade or scissors and cut lol. And it's a pretty slow maybe months?

I had 3 babies, they took about a year to grow and start to multiply. Well over 400 now. To bad they arent the 900$ jaw breaker types. I'd retire!!!!.

It took a while for them to really start reproducing. Once they start, hang on because you will have mushrooms everywhere

Propagating is not necessary, if they are in happy tank conditions they will thrive( most common ones). I have a red one with blue spots in the last month it has popped out 7 or 8 new heads. Seem they come from under the mother mushroom and then the mother moves so that the new ones get light eventually

I have all my srooms on frag plugs and one yuma is about to overgrow the plug. I havt attached to rocks because I am not sure yet for the future plans! I have a yuma that is about to overgrow the plug and the plug sits a distance off the rocks because they are on tonga type rocks and upright postion. Hard to explain but they are placed vertically not horizontally so I drilled holes in the rock and need the backs to attach in to the rock! My question is will it make babies i its on a mount sitting a distance from the rock?

I wish I knew how to add pics lol. I am asking because its getting pretty big and no babies yet! Its about 2 1/2 inches across. I wish I knew away to attach the shrooms to the rock on the frag mount horizontally! Because I am pretty sure thats where I want them to grow. I have a bunch of tongas in differet shapes and a bridge conecting all lined along the back of tank! Makes for a really nice rockscape. Just difficult to attach and dont know how to removed them from the mount! Actually don think you can. Can anyone help? Please!
