One of my yuma mushroom corals detached from its base where it has been in the rocks for several months. Perhaps my turbo snail nudged it off.

It fell to the sand near some other mushroom corals. Should I try and re attach it somewhere or leave it on the sand and let it determine its own destiny by picking its own desired spot on the rocks?

Tupaware with holes and rubble rock in it and low flow. It will attach again on its own when it is happy again

Can't it do the same thing on its own in the tank with my scape? It is close to my rocks lying on the sand face up. Won't it just move itself to a desired spot?

Just curious before I manually assist it.

I'd get a glass, like a tall shot glass, and put a frag disk in the bottom. Drop the mushroom in, and center it. Put it somewhere where flow won't disturb it. Once it attaches, you've got it on a plug where you can put it where you want it.
