Mushroom Coral not fully opening

hey all,

I put in a red musroom coral two days ago and it hasn't fully expanded. Water parameters are good and the other corals I put in are happy. I moved the flow off it but the musroom coral is still unhappy. Any suggestions?

hi,nice shrooms,just give them a few days to adjust,

Agreed. They are hardy but sensitive to flow and lighting changes. They actually don't look too bad in the pic. Probably be good in a few days or a week in my experience.

thanks! I've never kept reds before but I thought they were stunning at the store.

Hey man. I may hit you up next time I head over to Shenzhen. Curious to see the LFS there. Just give the shrooms time. They can adapt to almost anything so long as your parameters are in check.

I'll show you around Honghe, our aquairum street here! Not as impressive as goldfish street, but still fun!

My shrooms always did well in lower light/partial shade maybe start them there and scoot them towards the light slowly?

Ya'll were right. They opened right up after they got comfortable. I took a picture with my good camera. Thanks again everyone. This is definitely my favorite coral in the aquarium at them moment.
