Mushroom guts turned into a new shroom

I know some will doubt me, but here is what happened... Lineage shroom is GB Krakatoa Lava Bounce.
I purchased from my buddy, the shroom was on the split, so I decided to cut the shroom to hurry the process.
Here is the shroom before cut.

Here is the shroom after the cut.

Notice that little green dot middle of the plug, to the left, that was a piece of guts, post cutting that landed and stuck there. Here is the baby, I had to break the disc to separate momma from baby. I just used a hammer and chissel to break. It split the plug in 3 pieces, the momma on one, baby on other, and a quarter size chip had this small blob, which I decided to leave be.

So about a month later, the little blob appears to be forming into a mushroom coral, obviously from the cut, but this thread is designed to track this interesting phenomenon, thanks for following

Thats actually really cool. I have heard of this happening. Its funny when I cut my minecraft and the mom piece melted away. I was finding little blobs everywhere. Like they wanted to stick and become babies. Just never happened. I dont think my nutrients and system was stable enough after the crash.

Does it have a mouth?
Intersting its a different color.

It's starting to develop a skirt, but its so small, I can't really tell if it has a mouth yet. It is weird that it is a different color, the guts were bright green, some floated away, i captured in a turkey baster and disposed, as to not harm other corals. I remember that piece just staying in place, so I let it go, and now its becoming a shroom, lol

Very cool. Curious to see the color transformation as it matures. Id have to imagine its going to end up looking like the mom. But would be cool to see if you end up with some kind of morph.

Mine does the same! It reproduces by pedal laceration but I think it’s cool just finding dots on its rock and watching them grow.

Haha yeah Jason Fox minecraft its my avatar picture. Fortnite just doesn't give me that same tingle that Minecraft does.
My lil man named this one Berserker after gears of War haha. Considering there's already a Berserker shroom.
I think Gears of War should stick

Totally intriguing isn't it, we strive for optimal conditions, slave over our tanks, and sometimes mother nature has to remind us that she is superior, lol

To think a curly piece of guts is now a coral, what!!!
