so I've had this guy for about 2 months and can't find anything out except it's a mushroom of sorts. I can't find anything out about him so I don't know lighting or flow or anything. Please help :)

If you can get a better picture of the texture and color of the mushroom I might be able to get a exact id on it, but as far as care most shrooms like a low to medium light and low to medium flow. Now there is other shrooms that like a brighter light but that is usually some of the higher end shrooms.

This is the best photo I can get. I recently moved him to a different spot so he's mad at me but I'll get a picture of that also

This is him now. (The white "fluff" is the rock he's attached to) he's in way less light than before but has some flow coming to him. In the places I've put him so far, I've seen the biggest response from him in this spot. Waiting to see if he will expand or stay same size. I don't mind him not getting bigger, I just want to make sure it's healthy. And to add the white/bleached look is his current color. Kind of a cloudy white if you will.

by looking at it I think we can say its not a rhodactis mushroom but rather a discosoma mushroom do to its smooth looking polyp. As far as if its a designer shroom not really sure, id place it is a low light area and as little flow as you can and wait a few weeks and see how it looks then, it might shock you on the looks just by making it happy.

yea by that last pic id say low light and little flow and in about a month of this you might be surprised on what color it actually turns.

Thank you for your help. This thing stumped a few people. Give it a month and we'll see. Fingers crossed

Looks like a shroom that hasnt had a light source for a long time. They kinda fade to a white color when they get tucked underneath a rock. Still hard to tell what species with a clear picture.

If you look at the most recent photo, the whitish color towards the top is the color it has shown since I got it. I've put in in lighted and unlighted areas and he's always stayed that color. Just this time when I moved him that yellowish part at the bottom showed up, but he is about 25% more open now than before (if that makes sense)
