I think the mushroom frag that had come unglued from the rubble I put it on in the 10g turned up. Last night it was about 3 inches further back in a corner than now. Do these move on their own? Should I just leave it and see what it does, or do I need to pick it up and glue it to something?

All the dark flaky pieces around it are new too.

They will move if they aren't happy where you place them. I had a bright one that glowed in the dark that wasn't happy and disappeared over night. Cool mushroom and I haven't seen it since the day I got it :(

I would suggest trying to glue it down or else it might find a happy place where you can't see it. Does it have any rubble on the bottom side that you can use to glue it to a rock? If not, you can put it in a cup with rock rubble in the tank and cover the cup with netting. Leave it for a couple days to attach to rubble and then you'll have something you can glue. Place it in a lower flow area and watch it for a couple days to see if it is trying to come up. If it looks like it is letting go of the rubble try moving it to another area. Good luck!

You can make a clear plastic ring by cutting up a section of a water bottle and use it to corral the mushroom. When some sand stick to the bottom of the mushroom, you can glue the sand to a rock to secure the mushroom.
