Mushroom not happy...

Hello all, I received this discosoma (?) mushroom a few days ago. When I first got it it had a little bit of it's insides (Im not sure what I should call them, filaments, guts?) out. I didn't pay it much attention because I thought it would heal over in a few days but it only seems to have gotten worse. Im not sure what the right course of action would be for this, since it's not healing should I try to cut off the healthy bit to save? I have several other shrooms in this tank and they're all happy so...

Any help would be appreciated since this wasn't the cheapest mushroom i've bought... If you need a better photo a can get one.

Hi. A better photo would help. I'm not sure what you mean by cutting off the healthy part since the mesenterial filaments come out of the mouth, and the mushroom won't survive without a mouth.
