I recently got a very large mushroom coral that is probably 2 inches in diameter. My goby kept burying it so I moved it and now it doesn't open up anymore, what can I do

He looks ok to me in the photo. Is that an updated pic? How long has he been closed up? If it's only been a few I wouldn't worry too much...move em on a lower shelf rock n see what happens....or just give it a few as it's probably bothered by the sand.

Yeah that's the before pic, it's a fraction of the size now and it detached from its rock now as well

It looks fine for me too. Mines sometimes won't open as they do every day. Just don't bother him a lot and he will be fine.

If he's attached to a small piece of rubble, glue em onto something low but off the sand-bed....this way the goby doesn't bother him
