So my mushrooms have not been that happy and don't seem to fully open up, my candycane coral and my red mushroom are happy but my two purple/blue mushrooms are not, any ideas what I could do to help them out?

The best way is to rent a par meter.

What kind of light do you have? How deep is your tank where the shroom is?

If I were you, I would move it to the edge of a shadow, so that it’s half in the light, half in the shadow. That way, it has the ability to go in the light or in the shade. If it tends to stay in the shade, then either keep it there or move it to an area of less light. Flow might also be the issue, but I’m thinking it’s light. Best of luck!

I like this idea. Welcome to the reef gaki!

MODERATE LIGHT AND WATER FLOW and feed it 2-3X per week.
temp 77-79
salinity 1.025
ph 8.1-8.3

I have an aqua knight light, the mushroom is at the top of the rocks at about mid tank. The red mushroom that is doing well is towards the bottom of the tank so maybe it is a light problem.

Does it have a powerhead pointed at it?

Good Idea I'll have to see if this one hasn't attached yet my other one already atached to the rock.

Wait how long has it been in the tank? Maybe it's still getting comfortable

No I don't have a powerhead in the tank I have a skimmer that creates quite a bit of flow and a auqaclear hob filter.
I would move it further down with less flow. My blasto looks like that when he has too much flow, it lifts its skirt.
