Mushroom Ok ?

Hey everyone does my mushroom look ok . He’s all bent over instead of open and happy .

It’s been in the tank for a few months

no idea for par. I have a Chinese black box that is set to 50%

no it’s always been on the same rock. I went away for a week and left the intensity on 50%

Has it always been same intensity in same spot or did you recently ramp up your lamp before vacation?

If you haven't changed anything. Chances are its perfectly fine. All of my shrooms have done that from time to time.

Stability is key. Anything else happen when you where gone?

Yeah honestly long as no major parameter changes happened I'd say its perfectly fine.
Its funny I have an Aqua SD Deadpool shroom that looks alot like the one she posted that does that consistently.
I like to think its happy lol

Before leaving my timer died and i Didn’t have time to replace it so it was on 50% 24/7 until I got back. Hence the algae

nothing has changed except that . This mushroom is the only one throwing a fuss
Water parameters were:
Ammonia and nitrite 0
Nitrate 10

Has it been moving? Looks like a typical moving mushroom. Check the foot, if its stretching then it'll leave the foot behind ultimately growing a new mushroom

Nope. So mushrooms reproduce I believe 3 different ways. Release of eggs, splitting at the mouth, or in your case pedal laceration. Thats the preferred way of them multiplying

Good stuff. I almost said it could possibly be making a baby. Would be surprised if one sprung up in next cpl weeks.
In error I have probably killed half my shrooms and brought them back to life now. Almost indestructible.
Don't think OP has anything to worry about lol
