If you like what it will look like you can leave it. It will multiply into more heads. You don't have to do any thing if you decide to keep it.

A Polyp is just the name for the single animal. So there are mushroom polyps, Zoanthus/palythoa polyps, acropora polyps, Blastomussa polyps etc. I believe this is a mushroom polyp, it may spread but they usually don't grow fast enough to be an issue.
