mushroom question

I have a Mushroom i picked up from the LFS they didnt know what it was. I looks to be a jawbreaker mushroom. How long do they take to grow and color up? Its about the size of a quarter. Bright orange with a purpleish red edge and a few red and green specs on it. couldnt pass it up for the price i picked up the 2 they had. other 1 is about the size of a dime and just orange. I cant get a good pic of it all i have is my cell phone camera and its in the middle of my tank.

Doesn't look like Jawbreaker in my opinion

looks a lot diff if i could get a decent pic. i dont have a good camera tho. has 5-6 green specs a handfull of red specs a redish color around edges and is extremely bright orange. i dont know if thats what it is or not couldnt find anything else that would be specled and that bright orange

Sorry, but I really don't think it's a jawbreaker. Even if it looks like one I doubt it. As far as I know the Jawbreaker mushroom came from one person and while it's been getting propagated, the chances of a jawbreaker mushroom showing up somewhere with out someone knowing the linage is very very low. Maybe you have a new type of discosoma.
