Mushroom question

Is this a ricordea mushroom and if so is there a name for it or is it just a green ricordea

No it's some kind of a Caribbean color morph. A carlgini I believe.

Carlgrenis aren't rare like expensive rare but from what I seen they are rare in the trade. Nobody really carries them...their origin is in the Caribbean.

Yeah I only paid 25 for it and I hade never seen one before so I picked it up lol and it seems well worth it it looks amazing

Yes good find as they are not often sold by local venders. There are some on e bay though.

O lol there is only 1 place to buy saltwater anything within 75 miles of where I live so I go often and look for things I have never seen before and this is the first time I have Ben able to buy one of them and I'm glad I did

I wish I had a place like that where I live but I'm in a land locked area and people are rude and unaccomidating at the lfs here. Oh and not to mention shady. I rely on the internet for all my knowledge and buisnesses

Yeah I live in upstate New York near Canada and Vermont so there isn't much around my lfs is the same way they hade it marked as a recardia and new that was wrong and I usually do my research before buying from them but this time I took a shot in the bark

You should try online. If you a buy a few things shipping isn't so bad. I think you said you're in new york well Pacific east aquaculture has like $22 dollar shipping to ny, nj, pa I believe
