Mushroom question

I have noticed this guy making a cone like shape for the past few days and was wondering what could be the cause of it. New to taking care of shrooms and would like some input/help if possible. It's perfectly healthy besides doing this.

Are there any other coral next to it?

I have a baby scoly a few inches away but not near enough for it to be stung.

Looks to be stretching for more light. Mine will also do that if food falls on them and they curl up to eat.

I feel like it's reaching for light as well. I just thought they thrived at any par.
