Mushroom removal question?

Ok I have these Yuma mushrooms and their growing like crazy. I think I have 5/6 babies atm. My friend wants one but I'm not sure how to remove it.

Can I take a razor and slice it off? Or should I tell my buddy sorry can't do it. I'm not trying to harm my little babies so I figured I ask first.

You could try placing a frag plug adjacent and just wait for one to make it's way onto one?

Sure you can slice one off with a razor blade but it will need time to heal. Best chance of survival is for it to heal in your tank not his. You could aslo take a bone cutters or a side cutters and clip a piece of rock off with a shroom attached but doesn't really work with flat rock. Method three is flathead screwdriver/chisel the rock out around the mushrooms foot. Method four is try to peel the foot off with your finers/fingernails/credit card. Sometimes there are very attached to they're rock. You can do the frag plug method takes a long time though, good luck.

Yes, I thought of that. Just not the plug part you mentioned. I was thinking super glue and little piece of rubble from the sand bed next to one.

They can be removed like nems pull the rock and massage the foot should pop off.

Another way is to chisel a chunk of the rock that the foot is attached too.

Shrooms tend not to go deep into rock crevices.

So with that said, just slice it off and let it heal in my tank. Much appreciated, I do have a basket to put it in. So just let it heal tell it looks a ok. Hopefully no harm will be done. Fingers crossed. Thanks for your input. That about sums it up. Side note, I offered him eclectus mushroom frag but he said no. I have the eclectus on a big shell in the sand bed. Their a lot easier to remove that way...... Thanks for the help everyone it's appreciated.
