Mushroom spawning?

Anyone ever tried or had it happen naturally in your reef?
What are proper conditions needed to help raise offspring if this occurs?

I've had couple mushrooms spit out what appears to be sperm and eggs or babies when I handle them from time to time?

I'm curious if mushrooms have to be exact same species to reproduce. Or if mushrooms from different species can reproduce together in a spawning event?

Following, definitely curious. I haven't heard much about softies spawning, though I have seen RFAs do it. Mainly heard about sticks and such doing it

I was researching up on it and did come across an article that claimed mushrooms will spawn eggs and sperm.
Not sure if mine ever have spawned naturally but I can say for sure ive seen them spew out what appears to be eggs and sperm. Literally make a plopping splash when they hit the water.
I've had shrooms spit guts when upset and such.
Its not whats happening with this particular shroom though. I think its dropping eggs because its being stressed but naturally trying to reproduce from being stressed.

Not sure if this helps but in particular it is this set of shrooms that will do it.
I've had them both do it now.
Wonder if I could catch the eggs from both of them in a cup and if they would turn into babies. And what would be needed for them to successfully spawn?
