Mushroom splitting - is this normal.

I have a mushroom that appears to be splitting. It was looking ok this afternoon. Now it looks like this. Is this normal when they split??

Awesome! I have had the frag for 3 months. It got big but never split. How long does it usually take to split?

Depends on the shroom. Could be a day or two, but in the rare case, over a week or more...

Cool. I am excited. I finally am seeing things come alive. I finally got a Reef Octopus skimmer, sump in the garage, refugium, and started dosing Kalkwasser all within the last weeks. It's been a year of HOB filters. Over the last week it seems like everything is taking off!

Cant wait! I have waited a year to get some SPS. Wanted to make sure I did it right. I got my first 2 frags on Monday.

I got my Apex controller coming in on Monday and everything will change then..lol

Same with my palm tree frag, one day my Puffer eats half of it, 20 days later it’s like nothing happened lol
