Having some issus with my mushrooms. I added a st thomas and a rhodactis rock about a month ago. The st thomas dissolved overnight and the rhodactis are shrinking. Temp is 78. Salinity 1.25. Alk is 10. Zero ammonia & nitrites. Nitrate are .5. Phos is reading zero. I do 10% waterchanges every week. Not sure whats going on. I have zoas, hammers, fungia, and a good sized cynarina all doing well. Anyone else have issues like this? What did you do that seemed to turn things around?

What kinda lights and flow do u have?
Also with low nitrites and phos alk needs to be more closer to 7 dkh. But that shouldn't be the problem in dissolving of the mushroom.

High flow up top but they're sheltered from most of it. As for lights just some chinese blackbox led's.

uh the only problems I see are high alk but I agree, i dont thing it should be affecting them. have you done anything different after adding those shrooms in?
