Mushrooms not opening

I got these mushrooms about 2 weeks ago and they still aren’t opening. I have a 45 gallon, 2 ft deep tank with a Maxspect 160w. It came as several heads on a branch. I started with it on the sand bed towards the center of the tank for a week (circled I yellow) and then moved it to the side and further in the shade (in red). It’s been another week and they are still shriveled up. I’m not sure if I should move them again. I have 0 ammonia & nitrites, 05ppm Nitrates, 0 phosphates, 1.025 salinity. The lights slowly ramp up and backdown on the preset mode. Thank you for any help!

I would definitely get that PO4 up my shrooms love a little dirtier tank. What kit are you using to test PO4?

I’m using the API kit. I have no idea how to raise phosphates. I was wondering if that was a problem. Thanks!

I would first invest in a better test kit, a zero on an api test kit could not be a true zero. I would first upgrade your test kit I suggest a Hanna ulr PO4 kit.

Do you think the lighting could be an issue? The other corals I have (Xenia, GSP & Zoa) are doing ok.

Possibly but you can always check your par with a par meter to know for sure. Try moving the shroom up tiny bit and see how it does.
