Mushrooms propagation ?

Hi,

I have had these mushrooms during 4 months, period of time where they just got bigger (from 1 to 7" diameter) and i haven't seen division/new mushrooms, is there anything that I'm missing ? normal water parameters in a 55 g tank, other hairy mushrooms are dividing tho.

I’ve had some that never want to split either. I ended up cutting them into slices like a pizza for propagation.

I was thinking to do that ! not sure how to do it tho

From my humble observations (I’m no expert), some split, some just pop out babies, and some never do much of anything. Lol.

Take it out of the water, and use a scalpel or clean razor blade, then put them in a mushroom box so they don’t blow away.

I have some that got huge. Some that drop babies like crazy and a few that split. One split into 3 once.

If you cut it, make sure each ‘frag’ piece has some part of the mouth and foot with it
