Mushrooms

I have a huge colony of watermelon discoma mushrooms that keep falling off and floating and finding their way to rocks and covering other corals,,, My question is if I try to pull them off the rock and they tear or rip,, is there anything I should worry about???

The torn/ripped pieces will likely grow into more mushrooms. Seems like that is already an issue, so don't do that!
