So been dipped in the saltwater world now for almost 2 years....actually am on the edge of going insane with it lol...can some of you please tell me...what are some MUST HAVES to keep in the cupboard for your aquarium....obviously testing kits, food and phyto and zooplankton BRS REEF Chili and Reef Roids and so on....cupboards are getting filled with different things and just really want to narrow it down to the MUST HAVES...tell me to use this and this and this and that should be everything you should ever need. I've learned a lot from trial and error along with some NEVER AGAINS lol but am interested in knowing what's in some of you professionals arsenal out there that you've found full proof to a successful low maintenance (lol) saltwater aquarium!

Spares/backups of almost everything in the tank in case of a failure. Heaters, pumps, etc. Doesn't have to be expensive, just something to get you by for a day or two.
I also keep a supply of DI resin, all filters for my RODI, carbon, CO2 absorbing material, socks, glue, food, food, food, salt...pretty much enough to do a whole other tank! LOL

Nice to see fellow MN people on the reef. One thing I find very useful is baking soda. I convert it to soda ash and use it to regularly nudge my alk in the right direction. Also, citric acid to keep your equipment clean. I usually have 25 lbs on hand. I keep other items on hand at all times but the two I mentioned here are somethings everyone can use.

I clearly don't have a arsenal of supplies set up yet I guess.....an extra heater and filters lol....BRS here comes another big order
