If your tank parameters are good, it should bounce back. I have purchased frags worse than that and bounced them back to beauties

Looks like a Stylophora.
Have you done a run down on your water chemistry?
Could the piece have been handled roughly during purchase?

Is the tissue missing like RTN\STN or is it localized bleaching? Look close to see if you can see calcium skeleton or clear tissue. I would keep it in the water and hold it up flat under the lights to see. Shut your flow off to avoid any spreading of diseased tissue as a precaution.

Did you dip this coral before introducing it to your tank? In the blue tinted pictures, the damage appears consistent with flatworm damage. See the small light colored dots in the pictures above...

These pictures have been taken before and just seconds after introduce the frag so it is not related to my water chemistry. Any case thanks for your response and hope it will be recovered...

I would place it in a good water flow spot so it has good flow to keep it oxygenated for gas exchange and lots of food available to it. This will go a long way towards recovery. If you can you can cut off that branch that is the worst. You should cut into healthy tissue just in case So I would cut that branch off flush with the main stock. That is what I would do.

Yes, it is a pistilata. The frag was ok when purchasing. The problem has appeared during transportation and before put it into my reef.

It is localized bleaching in three points or so. Lights are off now so I will take a look tomorrow. I have let it be in the frag section inside my tank. Thanks for the advices
