MXM: Missing Anti-Sync and Back Profiles for Vortech

To show you the timeframe and how slowly eco-tech does things let me give you a short story well over a year ago I bought two brand new mp40s hook them up to Mobius did the master child relationship between them and within one day the child pump disappears every single time no matter what I do. I contacted eco-tech they told me this is a known issue, and in the next update it will be addressed over a year later this past week I finally decided to check again and lo and behold. Finally an update over 12 months later for an issue that they knew about 12 months ago that’s all I’m gonna say took them 12 months to repair something they knew about.

If people knew the full story, this isn’t surprising. They weren’t just simply trying to patch a known issue or two the last little bit. It was a full redo of the entire app and code last I heard

Yes, and took over a year to do in the meantime the two pumps that I spent well over $1000 on did not work properly for over a year and three or four updates later got it working now that I don’t care anymore is the issue. It was a YEAR LATER !!!

For those still running the Mxm, have these issues been addressed? ie importing profiles for radions, setting a master and slave for MP devices and using anti sync?) I have radions that don’t need to be on mxm but I would like the pumps on for feed modes/maintenance. But not if anti sync doesn’t work properly.

Yeah mobius is fine. The wxm is a way to control your ecotec/ai devices thru Neptune apex. Think of it as an integration point

Thanks! What is the difference between MXM and WXM? I know mxm is the Neptune module to integrate AI, Ecotech etc. "WXM" is new to me

Mxm is the new one. Wxm is old and discontinued

G5s and G6s do work with MXM.

And yes QDs work as well as long as they have the black mobius chip installed. But the only time that might be a concern is for older QDs that were purchased before the launch of mobius.

I’m sorry, I meant WXM. Replace my whole comment with WXM lol. Is both still true?

I accidentally picked up the WXM thinking it was the MXM. Stuff is so confusing. I haven’t hooked it up yet but if they work with the above then I’ll hook it up.

The g5s and 6s will not work. Although as far as I know, you can still roll back your mobius ready vortechs to work on esl and wxm.


If you do try to hook up your VT to wxm, please let me know if that rollback still works.

I have the mxm and it controls my 4 G5 pro, 4 mp40s, 2mp60s and 2 versa return pumps fine

Your MXM is controlling your Versa pumps? Did I miss a firmware update? When did they start? I've been waiting for an announcement as im dying to get a few of theses pumps and I haven't because I don't want to use them thru Mobius. Nothing against Mobius... I just want to control them thru my Apex.
