Hey yall! I'm so excited to finally get my waterbox up and running. It's a 10G AIO. So far I love it and cant wait for live stock. Its cycling now. As for stocking I'm going 2 black storm clowns and my Rbta from my 40B. The rbta will def be the showcase for sure. As for equipment
Waterbox 10G AIO
Intank 1 & 2 filter baskets
Aqueon 50w heater
Jabeo ow-10
Chemipure blue
Red Sea ReefLED 50w
Smart Micro ATO

Here are some pics. Sorry they're not the best lol.

So today makes day 2 of the cycle. I added some bio spira yesterday. I did my daily check and was pleased with the results. Couldnt believe how fast its cycling.

Ammonia: .5 (started at 2ppm)
Nitrite: .5
Nitrates: <5

Looks like my storm clowns will be coming sooner than expected.

So I just ordered my black storms. The store was very nice and said they would hold them until my tank finished cycling. Hopefully if I can keep my parameters stable I can make this my collectors tank

Will you wind up running with a sand bed in the future or just going Sandless? I am curious to see how it pans out I am new into the hobby and I have a 40 gal aio with a pretty deep sand

i am picking up the same tank i am just wondering were did you get your stand?
It's the coralife stand for the 14 and 16 gallon tanks. I got it on sale for $80. Look on ebay for the upgraded version. I absolutely love it. Its def not the best quality but for the money I'm not mad. It has space underneath for an ato and a shelf to keep all equipment on. Def a great buy. I also think it looks great too.

I also have a 40b with a deep sand bed. I wanted to run this bare bottom. I have bio media in the back area as well as 15lbs of rock to offset the bare bottom. I plan on running chemipure blue and good filter floss. Hopefully it all works out. This is just for 2 clowns and an anemone and some corals

Well good luck to you! I’ll be checking to see how it goes

Thank you. I believe the clowns are shipping today. So excited. I'm following the brs new tank setup videos. So no light on the tank for 4 months! Which means no nem for 4 months. I think it is worth it though. I will be posting some more pics soon of my new equipment

I just recently started my own build thread as well and the more patient you are in the time Ive had a tank the more it pays off.

I agree. I researched and saved for 2 years for my 40b. I put light on it way too early and now am dealing with gha. It's been a great learning experience. Some things you only learn from making mistakes. I have had great success and growth in my 40b and learned how to keep stable parameters so I figured I'd try my 10G nano living room build.

I got a buddy who has a 13.5 fluval and all he’s got to do is water changes with his Red Sea salt and he doesn’t even have to dose trace but everyone’s tans are different

So I took the opportunity on black friday to get some equipment. I got my InTank media baskets as well as a lid and the Red Sea LED 50. I got the ato reservior on amazon. Also got a used SmartAqua Micro ATO. All in all I think it's coming together. I also got the back filter cover that goes over all the filtration compartments. I modded the sceen cover to fit perfectly against it.

I would’ve waited awhile to put expensive fish in the tank. New tanks can have double cycles. My 45 gallon had a second cycle a month after the first cycle was already finished. I lost $150 in fish and over $300 in coral. Will never make the mistake of putting expensive stuff in a new tank again LOL

Thanks for the info. They're clowns so in the event that does happen they're pretty hardy. I'm not doing corals or anemones for a bit. I'm taking this one nice and slow. I appreciate you giving me a heads up
