Begining of stand from cabinet grade plywood, I constructed it by laminating cabinet grade plywood to a double thickness and overlapping all the joints for the most glue areas as possible and then covering it with mahogany veneer.
Next came construction of the control cabinet and Mangrove refugium area. It was single-ply cabinet grade also covered in Mahogany veneer with Oak trim and door frames
Trigger system Emerald 39 sump and Plumbing, I thought I could get away with one pump handling the return and the manifold, but trying to balance out flow into two different tanks is just too big of pain so half of that plumbing is getting ripped out and redone this weekend so I can separate it out two Reef Octo Varios pumps.
Construction of the hood and beginning of control panel. My Apex, trident, lighting and wave pumps will be transferred over from the old tank once the 4 month cycle on this one is complete
Forgot to mention I built everything including the mangrove refugium tank, I drilled the display tank on my own and installed the modular Marine ghost overflow. I am currently testing out my first prototype algae scrubber. The algae scrubber was installed on my old tank 3 weeks ago and I've already had to scrape the media twice due to excessive algae growth on it. More than likely will be building a larger one for the new tank and adding a second light.
