Well after going throught a few tanks getting the feel on the salt water hobby I have finally got my Deep Blue 120 Reef Ready tank moved into my house and sitting in the floor awaiting the next step. I wanted to go with the 4FT print tank instead of a 6ft 125 gallon becasue of the deepness of the tank that way I had more room to do my aquascape. Currently I have a 65 Gallon set up and everything from it will be moved over to the new tank once everything is in place. So now to show the progess of where I stand today on my build. Instead of going out and buying a stand I decided I would reather build my own that way I could have it just the height and way I wanted it to look.

The stand is built at 41" from the floor to the top where the tank will sit. I made it a little bit taller then most stands just for the fact that I wanted to be eye level with the tank an not have to squat down to look at my fish. After getting it all built I decided I would take it to the house an make sure everything worked out to plan before I went any further.

So I messed up.. Yep thats right I didnt take into account the overflows in each cornor so my not so well thought out plan that I thought I had once again wasnt so great but no big deal easy fix. I had to move two of my top braces over and problem solved. I got the stand back to the shop and started to put the floor in and the sides of the stand on as well as the center front brace where the doors will sit once finished. As of Monday Nov 18,2013 this is where I have made it to. More updates to come soon.

Well this weekend I got to get a break from getting out an doing Christmas things so I got the doors painted an put on the stand.. Also had a buddy of mine upgrade to a bigger skimmer on his 180 so I picked up the ASM G3 skimmer.

ASMs are very versatile skimmers. Easy to modify. I would do the gate valve mod to yours, allows precise adjustments to the output without water running all over the place.

Thank y'all for the nice comments... Lights are next on my list an canopy. More pics to come soon with coral an finished project

Very Slick looking setup!! So Clean Looking!! Congrats on the beginning of your Dream Tank!! Can't wait to see what Coral you decide to go with!

I like the way you did your rock. I always seem to fill my tank up with rock and leave no room for coral. Lol

Thanks for everyone who has commented... This is by far better then I could ever dream it would have looked. Ready to add coral an get my own little part of the ocean In my home.

Just a few updated pics I took today. Hope y'all enjoy.
